Welcome to our Virtual Symposium

Barbados Cancer Association USA (BACA), Inc., in partnership with Barbados Nurses' Association of America, Inc. (BNAA) and the Caribbean American Medical & Scientific Association (CAMSA) Inc., is proud to present this free virtual education event to our community.

The program will provide a historical overview of cancer, an update on cutting edge advances in diagnosis and treatment and explore promising emerging technologies. This educational activity is directed toward the general public, health care workers and students.

At the end of this program, participants will be able to have a better understanding of:

• Cancer trends in recent years  - successes and disappointments, lifestyle issues, disparities
• Diagnostic and treatment advances that have resulted in improved  outcomes
• Emerging technologies and their potential impact
