BACA in partnership with Barbados Nurses' Association of America, Inc. (BNAA) and the Caribbean American Medical & Scientific Association (CAMSA) Inc. is proud to present this free virtual education event to our community.
Overview:
Program will provide an overview of common pediatric cancers; how they present, how they are evaluated, how they are treated, the psychosocial impact on the patient and family, post treatment care and survivorship.
Target Audience:
This educational activity is directed toward the general public and health care workers and students.
Learning Objectives:
At the end of this program, participants will be able to have a better understanding of:

- Common risk factors and warning signs
- Advances in evaluation and treatment
- Survivorship issues
